Veltrix has extended TOOLFORGE's modular automation options to the entry-level TF-610, previously available only on the TF-640. Both models in the TOOLFORGE line can now be configured with automation packages built around unattended production of rotary cutting tools — milling cutters, drills, and profile tooling.

TOOLFORGE occupies a specific niche: production and resharpening of the tools a shop uses to make everything else. A tool room running lights-out or minimally-attended shifts needs the same automation confidence on its tool-grinding equipment as on its production machines, and that was previously a TF-640-only capability.

"The TF-610 was designed as the accessible entry point into 5-axis tool grinding," a Veltrix product manager noted. "Bringing automation down to that model means a growing tool room doesn't have to jump straight to the TF-640 just to run unattended."
