Veltrix Machining designs and builds precision grinding and machining systems used by manufacturers who cannot afford a fraction of a micron in error. That standard starts on our own shop floor, in our own engineering team, and in how we treat the people who make it possible.
We're a growing team based in Caernarfon, Wales, and we're always interested in hearing from skilled engineers, technicians, and specialists who want to work on equipment that genuinely matters to the industries it serves — aerospace, medical, watchmaking, and beyond.
Current Openings
CNC Applications Engineer
Work directly with customers to specify, commission, and support GRINDCORE, TOOLFORGE, MICROCENTER, and THREADPRO installations. A strong background in CNC grinding or machining processes is required.
Field Service Technician
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Veltrix machines at customer sites across the UK. Hands-on mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience is essential, and travel is a regular part of the role.
Precision Assembly Technician
Build and calibrate precision machine sub-assemblies to tight tolerance on our production floor. Prior experience with precision mechanical assembly or metrology equipment is a strong advantage.
Sales Engineer — Precision Machinery
Own technical sales conversations with manufacturers evaluating Veltrix platforms, from first enquiry through to specification and quotation. A background in manufacturing or capital equipment sales is preferred.
