Veltrix has added an extended-capacity tool magazine option, holding approximately 235 positions, across the MICROCENTER range. The option is aimed squarely at shops running long, multi-operation part families — watchmaking components, medical instruments, and small aerospace hardware — where a standard magazine forces a manual tool change partway through a production batch.

MICROCENTER's core value proposition is finishing complex, multi-process parts in a single setup; a tool-change interruption partway through a long unattended run works against that. The extended magazine lets a shop load a full family of parts' worth of tooling once, then run through the batch without stopping to reload.

The option is available across all five current MICROCENTER models, from the MC-910 through the MC-980, and can be specified alongside the line's existing common options — in-machine tool measurement and part-check probing, robot or manipulator automation integration, high-pressure through-tool filtration, and dedicated thermal management.
